Speech Therapy for Children in Kuwait
Speech therapy is at the heart of what Little Faris Center does in Salmiya, and one of the most requested early intervention services by families across Kuwait. We work with children facing delayed speech and language, articulation disorders, or difficulty using language to communicate with the people around them. The journey starts with an accurate speech assessment of your child’s current level, then moves into individual sessions built on play and activities children love — because children learn best while enjoying themselves. After every session we share what was worked on and how to support your child at home; real progress is made by home and center together.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is delayed speech a reason to see a speech therapist?
As a general guide, if a child is not saying clear single words by around 18 months, or not combining two words into simple phrases by around age two and a half, a speech assessment is worthwhile. An early assessment does not necessarily mean there is a problem — it gives you reassurance and a clear plan, and early intervention usually gives the best results.
How long until we notice progress from speech therapy?
It varies from child to child depending on age, the type and degree of difficulty, and follow-through at home, so we never promise one fixed timeline. We set short, measurable goals and review them with you regularly, and you receive daily follow-up after every session so you can see progress step by step instead of waiting for a distant result.
Do parents attend speech sessions with the child?
It depends on what serves the session’s goal. At some stages a parent’s presence supports the child; at others, children progress better one-on-one with the therapist. Either way, you receive detailed daily follow-up after each session, with simple exercises to practice at home and reinforce what your child learned.
